so from not really having much planned for the weekend, to being a none stop weekend of happenings. after work on friday i went directly to gym (hadnt been to the gym since i got sick, so 2 weeks away from the gym). after that i went home, showered, got my pj's on and got comfy in bed and started watching a movie. at about 20:00 my cousin messaged, she wanted to get out a bit, so i drove through to cape town to pick her up and bring her back here. we went to casa da sol for supper and a drink, it was so lekker, really had a good time with my cousin.
saturday morning, my parents and i gave her a lift back to cape town as she was involved in the design indaba at the cticc. after dropping her off, my parents and i went to get breaky at the spur at the waterfront. we then went to the design indaba, such stunning stuff there with such stunning prices. i was very amazed to see how many people actually attended the indaba, it was extremely busy. we walked around for a while and we had a brandy cocktail, damn strong and yummy! after the indaba we headed back home, i then met a friend at the beach to catch a quick tan. after that it was shower time and to get ready for supper and rugby with friends.
sunday morning was a quick 20min treadmill session at the gym, then off to durbanville to the "feast of the grape" festival for some wine tasting. we then had a braai by friends of the friend. i eventually got home at about 18:30.
the cleaning and sorting will need to be finished some other time!
