after the cycle i met up with friends for a awesome lunch,

which continued with wine & chocolate pairing

& stopping over @ thirsty scarecrow.....and then de kelder and then a braai

school project.....home made play dough.....HELP!

so wednesday the 12th i get a message from my ex that dante needs to make play dough for school and it had to be at school the next day. so i had to go out and get the necessary ingredients so that we could try make the dough the wednesday night.

i was freaking out, how on earth do you make play dough!!! 

the recipe seemed simple enough, i was just worried it wouldnt come out right. then what, how do i get play dough for school the next day if it is a flop???

anyway, panic attack for nothing!

dante had to build a skeleton for a school project. thank goodness for

nanna's, this was her idea. well done dante for building it!

dancing!

i started modern dancing when i was 5 years old, did some ballet but not for long. i preferred modern dancing. i danced till i got to about std 9 i think, then i stopped.

beginning of march abi asked if she could do dancing as some of her friends were doing it. i was soooooo happy when she asked, hehe, i asked her last year and she said she didnt want to. i suppose it makes it easier having friends that do it.

on wednesday the 5th i took her to go and have a look and to watch one of the classes. she was allowed to participate in the class, she tried twice but both times started crying. she is shy and it obviously was all to overwhelming for her. so on the 6th march i took her to get her first dancing outfit. i hoped this would get her all excited, which it did! but on thursday night i got a message from her dad saying abi doesnt want to do dancing anymore. as much as i would love her to do dancing i would also not force her to do something she doesnt want to do. the friday i got a message again saying she wants to dance.

today she got a lift with one of the other moms to dance class from school, apparently all went well and she enjoyed it :-)

the kids come to me every wednesday night, i try and do some sort of activity with them when they with me, but cause its during the week it kinda gets difficult due to homework, etc.

the weather was perfect and i got them to bring their scooters along. we stopped at the beach for a walk/scooter ride and to take some pics. i am still battling on understanding all the correct settings to use on my camera. but i will get it one day.
