i took my mom along to table mountain with the tickets i had won. it was amazing! i enjoyed it soooo much, this time i at least stood up in the cable car and i looked out and down, eeeeeeeek!

april update

lets see!

i have fallen behind again, dammit!!! i try to stay up to date, but life is just flying by so fast.

* started working at a new stall at the market, kiddies clothing. so much more interesting and the pay is better :-)

* i am on module 5 of my photography course, learning so much. really enjoying it but havent had the time the last week to study :-(   i have optional assignments for module 4 & 5 to do, just hope to do it soon.

* for easter weekend my dad, mom, dante, abi & i went to p.e. for my grans 85th birthday and to see the family who we havent seen in years. friday the trip took us NINE hours, we were awake at 3:30am in the morning, it was a looooooong trip.

friday night i met up with old school friends who i am still in contact with. was great catching up and   seeing them.

saturday was a day out with my gran - shops, lunch, graveyard, aunts house and then back home.

sunday morning we all went to church - uncles, aunts, cousins and so on and so on. my gran is catholic, the church service was looooong. they had a special announcement for her birthday, which she was so happy about, she even started crying. the church is the same church my gran got married in. after church the whole family went back to my grans house for a braai. after the braai my mom, dante, abi & i went off to visit my mom's side of the family, my aunt and cousin (who i hadnt seen in 12 years!!!). sunday was a hectic day!

monday morning it was up at 6:00am and back on the road to come home. this time it took TEN hours!!! my mom and dad bought a puppy from my aunt, so we needed to stop more and we got stuck in the sir lowrys pass traffic for an hour.

* tuesday i went for an interview with an employment agency. i have a second interview tomorrow with a director of a company for a pa/bookkeeper position. i really hope i get the job. the salary is better than what i am getting now.

* this saturday afternoon i am flying out to namibia for about 8 days. going to visit otto, going to be a bit weird as we not together anymore, but would like to stay friends as we have been good friends for years. i am really looking forward to the holiday and seeing new places. going to be seeing etosha :-)

tonight i am joining friends for supper and drinks at the thirsty scarecrow just outside stellies. tomorrow i am working at the market. tomorrow night is the stormers vs waratahs game at newlands with my daddy, yay! sunday is working at the market again and sunday night will most probably be some studying. hoping to get some pics taken this weekend.

i am really wanting to stop working at the market, BUT, unfortunately i am needing the extra cash. i had to start paying maintenance for my kids to my ex husband as of feb this year. i also had to go onto my own medical aid and then we heard we not getting increases. well i got a 2% increase, which helps me f#@ all!!! so financially things are really tough at the mo so i am stuck working at the market for now. 

some exciting and good news, i enrolled for a online photography course about a week ago, got a huge bargain on groupon. i have completed 2 out of the 18 modules and got 100% for both modules, think its gonna get tougher from here on. but i am so happy i did this, a step forward!

broken heart .....

on the 21st march myself and otto's relationship came to an end. its been 2 weeks now and it still hurts like hell. the long distance was just not working, him being in namibia, me being here, only seeing eachother maybe every 4 months just sucked!

i am trying every day to be positive and just keep on saying to myself that "things happen for a reason".

i miss him a lot and still love him dearly, going to be a very difficult one to get over!
