otto's august 2014 visit ......

otto came to visit in august, was only for a few days unfortunately. we are not back together, just friends! we did about 5 days of climbing - montagu, silvermine (where i did my first outdoor lead, only a 13, but was scary as hell, hahaha) and city rock. my legs were so badly bruised and scratched after all the climbing.

montagu, i did my first multi pitch climb. a three pitch! it was sooooooo scary. i freaked out a bit on the 2nd pitch, wanted to bail out. but then moos chatted to me, calmed me down and got me to finish the pitch. the height thing is soooooo insane, i did it, i completed it. thank you so much moos for your patience and taking me on my first multi pitch climb. so glad i got to do it with you.

in june i started going to the indoor climbing gym in observatory. at first i was not going to join to be a member, but then i landed up going 2 to 3 times a week. so i joined. the only thing is the travelling on my own on the n2 and the petrol costs. wish i had a climbing gym closer to where i stay!

i am enjoying the climbing soooooo much......

i have also learnt to lead, leading is tough & scary, hahahaha
