april 2013 - easter weekend!

on sunday the 24th april otto (not called the "guy" anymore) arrived at about 19:30, i was really excited to see him again. the tuesday night a few of our friends and ourselves went to watch a show at barnyard in durbanville, the show was called "surfing safari". i really enjoyed the show, we sang and danced and just had fun!

the wednesday night we met a friend for a few drinks, the few drinks landed up being, a couple of shooters and dancing later on. a awesome evening out!

the thursday with a very bad hang over we hit the road for a trip to vredenburg. a meet his parents kinda visit. luckily by the time we got to vredenburg that afternoon my hang over was waaaaaay better.

friday morning otto showed me around vredenburg, he then decided that he felt like abseiling. so we headed back to his parents place to pick up the climbing gear. it was very windy, once i got to the top i decided that there was no way i was going down. i have never abseiled before, havent really climbed, kinda freaked out about heights and knowing that my life was in my hands, ummmmmm no! anyway, after a pep talk and motivational speach from otto i decided to give it a try. i was extremely nervous, but i did it and i enjoyed it. so i gave it another try. after we had done the same one twice, he decided that he wanted to do the higher one, down the front. for him its nothing! once again, some how he managed to convince me to give it a try. it was waaaaaaay higher than the other one. another first that i have done!

the saturday we headed out to kwaggas to spend some time with friends. the weather unfortunately wasnt that great, overcast and cool. but that didnt stop the guys from skiing and wake boarding.
