dinner with a friend!

last night a friend  and i went to buena vista for supper and cocktails. our starter was a choc & caramel vodka mix shooter, hehe!

the cocktails specials board was then brought to our table so that we could decide which one to start off with. the cocktails were yummy!

 supper was a massive, very tasty burger and chips.

i just love the decor @ buena vista, the old pics and photo frames. one day when i am big and all grown up, i want a room full of old frames like below.

was a really nice evening!

on our way out i took a pic of the water fountain outside, the car guard then comes to me and says that i must come and have a look at the nice place on the other side to take pics. so we followed him (kinda wary), but glad i did!

mid week pics

wednesday nights the kids are by me, just after we got home, the kids called from outside and said that i must come and have a look at the bird. we had a visitor on the roof.

we then decided to go and have a swim at the gym, but first, a stop at the beach for a few pics.

17th june ..... youth day!

i worked sunday the 16th june, youth day, so the monday i spent some quality time with my kiddies.

1st stop - helderberg farm:

had a fantastic day filled with loads of laughs!!!

root 44 market...part time work continued!

scuba update!

after missing out on doing my 3rd and 4th dive the sunday, i managed to get a appointment to go thursday the 13th june. i called in a "sicky" for work, hehe!

BUT i am soooooo glad i did. we went to simonstown again, but this time we went to boulders beach. scenery is a lot better, we swam inbetween 2 massive boulders (like a alley way) where a huge school of fish swam over us. there is also a lot of star fish in that area.

the water was obviously very cold again, visibility was good enough.

i did it, i completed dive 3 and 4 with no hassle besides the equilisation. i qualified! AND i got some pics this time, YAY!
